Heba Fahmy is a fiction writer, editor, and journalist with over 15 years of experience in international media. She worked as a senior producer for Al Jazeera English and CNN, covering major events including Egypt’s 2011 revolution, before becoming Features Editor at Middle East Eye in London. She now brings her storytelling background into fiction, exploring themes of women’s lives, identity, and resilience. Her short story Lifting the Veil was selected for publication in Screaming: Beyond Borders (Woman Scream Festival, 2025).
