Bas-Arts-Index is a free members organisation which offers support to creative individuals, groups and organisations from, living, working in, or making work about the Basildon borough.
We support creatives in various practical ways, from an online directory, noticeboard, regular newsletters, local social meet ups and open crit sessions.
We aim to support individuals, groups and organisations at any stage of their career and using any medium, technique or process. By connecting local creatives we hope to generate activity, collaboration and to help support the building of a future arts ecology in Basildon.
Basildon as the borough includes: Basildon, Laindon, Langdon Hills, Pitsea, Vange, Billericay and Wickford.
